Paterson Grain to Host Grand Opening of Foothills Terminal of Bowden

BOWDEN, AB – Paterson Grain is pleased to announce the grand opening of their Foothills Terminal in Bowden, AB on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018. The unveiling of the new grain terminal will be celebrated from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Paterson Grain invites customers, staff, and the public to celebrate the unveiling of the new grain terminal.

The quality of the grain terminal makes Paterson Grain an industry leader in construction of high efficiency terminals. The terminal can store 2,225,000 bushels of grain, ship 75,000 bushels per hour, clean 8,800 bushels per hour, and receive 32 Super B trucks per hour. In addition, the facility also includes a 150 car loop track capable of loading a full unit train in 8 hours. With two fully independent receiving lanes the terminal is able to receive different commodities from each driveway without interrupting shipping operations. A fully automated truck loop design ensures very fast turn-around for delivering trucks. Lastly, the terminal has an integrated dust suppression system, ensuring clean operations from receiving to shipping.

Attending the grand opening will be Andrew Paterson – CEO, Shane Paterson, Hugh Ross, Keith Bruch, Bruce Humphreys, Darren Highfield, Kevin Woods, and Dave Koskie.
