Identity Preserved Production

Warburton Wheat Production Program

Our Warburton Wheat Production Program is an Identity Preserved program that focuses on the specific, high quality wheat required by Warburtons - the largest family-owned baking firm in the United Kingdom. As Brett Warburton explains, the Paterson name is the mark of quality: "We pride ourselves in delivering only the best baked goods to our customers, and we do this by sourcing the best possible wheat grown. From seed to harvest, from harvest to terminal, and from rail to ship, our wheat is Identity Preserved through Paterson's network and transportation services. We continue to purchase through Paterson because of superior service, on-time delivery and quality conscious Paterson employees."

Growers who follow the terms of Paterson's Warburton Wheat Production Program receive a significant premium for their grain.

Snowbird Hard White Spring Wheat Program

Paterson Grain offers a Snowbird Hard White Spring Wheat Program in partnership with the Canadian Wheat Board and FP Genetics. This variety of Identity Preserved wheat is a new class and combines the superior quality attributes of Canadian Western Red Spring Wheat (CWRS) along with the milling and flour colour benefits found in white wheat.

Non-GMO Soybean Program

Paterson Grain is responsible for developing Canada's first Non-GMO Soybean Program. This is a complete, audited Identity Preserved program which guarantees our end-user buyers and processors the Non-GMO status of soybeans. In return for producing this variety of soybean, growers receive a higher price for their crop.

Malt Barley Production Program

Paterson has a well-established network of international customers for malt barley. Growers who take part in this program are provided with the benefits of our deferred input program.

Certified Organic

Paterson Grain works in partnership with it's subsidiary, Growers International Organic Sales Inc. (GIOSI) to produce Certified Organic. GIOSI is Canada's largest exporter of certified organic grains. GIOSI works exclusively with an extensive network of organic producers across Western Canada, and its grain products are certified by OCCP/Pro-cert; a certification program recognized around the world. Through GIOSI, Paterson Grain offers organic growers our marketing expertise, immediate cash ticket settlement, shipping and delivery, and premiums for production.
